Biographical Information[edit]
Masato Naito was an outfielder who represented Japan in the 1986 Amateur World Series, 1989 Asian Championship, 1990 Asian Games and 1990 Baseball World Cup. In the 1990 Cup, he hit .257/.333/.400 with five runs and one RBI in nine games, going 6-for-7 in steals. He led the event in steals by two. He fielded .952 in center. He played for Yamaha in the Industrial league after college.
