Biographical Information

Masanobu Tanaka has been an outfielder for JR Kyushu in the industrial leagues. In the 2015 Asian Championship, he was the center fielder and #9 batter for the third-place Japanese national team. He went 2 for 12 at the plate, but with 6 walks, 5 runs and 3 RBI. He had five putouts in the field. He tied Yuichi Tabata for the team lead in runs. His biggest hit was a RBI double off China's Jinhao Jia.
