Biographical Information[edit]
Masahiro Kimura pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.
Kimura represented Japan in the 1998 Asian Games. The Orix BlueWave drafted him in the fourth round of the 1998 NPB draft. Kimura spent his nearly entire career in the NPB Farm Leagues, and only had 16 appearances with the big club in the first three years of his career. The BlueWave released him in 2001, and the Chunichi Dragons picked him up. Kimura only pitched 2 more games for the Dragons, and announced his retirement after the 2003 season.
Overall, Kimura was 0-2 and a 5.96 ERA and pitched 25 2/3 innings in 4 seasons in NPB.
