Maryland Park

From BR Bullpen

Maryland Park was home to the Baltimore Black Sox from 1921-1932 and is near the current site of Camden Yards. Originally a model facility that held 10,000-12,000, it fell into disrepair over time and changes in management. It was home to two historic no-hitters - Red Grier's no-hitter in the 1926 Negro World Series, the first World Series no-no, and Joe Strong's 11-inning no-hitter the next year, the longest Negro League no-hitter.
