Biographical Information

Relief pitcher Martin Abad was signed by the Seattle Mariners on May 29, 2010. He went 2-3 with a 1.29 ERA in 16 games for the DSL Mariners, allowing 22 hits and 7 walks in 35 innings (0.829 WHIP), while striking out 28 batters. . Despite the successful campaign, Abad elected free agency following the season, ending his professional career.
