Biographical Information[edit]
Mark "Big Stick" Stewart got into one game near the end of the 1913 season with the Cincinnati Reds, playing catcher for a couple of innings and coming once to the plate.
Mark, born in Whitlock, TN, was at the University of Tennessee in 1910 and then Washington and Lee University in Virginia in 1912-1913. He spent most of the 1913 baseball season with the Norfolk Tars of Norfolk, VA, and was back with them in 1914-1915.
