Biographical Information[edit]

Mark McKenzie has been a college coach. His son Marcus McKenzie pitched in the minors, then became an assistant coach under Mark.

Mark McKenzie began coaching Little League in 1968, while still in high school. He was head coach of Minnetonka High School from 1993-1997. He then coached for the US in the 1997 World Youth Championship and managed them to a Gold in the 1998 World Youth Championship. He became head coach of Concordia University in 2000. He returned to Team USA as an assistant in the 2008 World Junior Championship, when they won a Silver Medal. He retired from Concordia after the 2019 season with a 456-361-1 record.
