Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Mark Funderburk was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 16th round of the 1976 amateur draft. The scout was Red Robbins. Mark played baseball in Rimini, Italy in 1984. In 1985, while with the Orlando Twins, he led the Southern League with 34 home runs and 116 RBI.
Funderburk was a coach with the Orlando Twins in 1988-1989, Orlando Sun Rays in 1990-1992, and Nashville Xpress in 1993-1994.
