Biographical Information[edit]

Mark Brown pitched in the majors in 1984 and 1985, with a 1-2, 5.12 record in 15 games between the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins. Born in the same town as Carlton Fisk, Mark's life was affected by Carlton's career (see the SABR biography). He also played seven seasons in the minors. He was at the University of Massachusetts Amherst a couple of years after Jeff Reardon. With the O's in 1984, he was one year older than Cal Ripken.
