Biographical Information[edit]
Mario Zeledón was a catcher for the Costa Rican national team, playing in the 1972 Amateur World Series and 1986 Central American Games (a Silver Medal, Costa Rica's best through 2017) among other events. He retired in 1990 after winning four national titles. Off the field, he has worked as a dentist and taught dentistry as well.
