Biographical Information[edit]
Mario Mazzei was a first baseman for Grosseto. He hit .190/.256/.223 and fielded .916 in 1967 and batted .165/.208/.242 while fielding .945 in '71. He later became an umpire in Italy and worked international tournaments, including the Gold Medal game of the 1993 Intercontinental Cup.
