Biographical Information

Outfielder Mario Domecq debuted in Cuba for Matanzas in 1972-1973 and played until 1981-1982, wrapping up with Henequeneros. He hit .233/.310/.317 with 111 runs and 83 RBI in 316 games, stealing 24 bases in 37 tries. He led the league with 8 sacrifice hits in 1974-1975, when he played for the Citricultores. He fielded .940. He was 27-63 and last place as manager of Matanzas in 2003-2004. He also has coached in Cuba.
