Mariano Spotorno pitched for the Argentinian national team in the 1995 Pan American Games. He later managed Argentina to a Gold in the 2004 South American Championship (their first outright Gold in a South American Championship) and to a Silver in the 2016 South American Championship. He guided Argentina's national softball team to a 2012 junior world title.
