Biographical Information

Marco Carrillo pitched in the minors from 2006-2008.

In 2006, he was 3-3 with 2 saves and a 5.26 ERA for the VSL Orioles/White Sox, walking 36 in 51 1/3 IP. He was 7th in the Venezuelan Summer League in walks. In 2007, he had a 4-1, 5.47 record and two saves for the DSL White Sox 2, walking 37 and hitting 11 in 49 1/3 innings. He tied for 9th in the Dominican Summer League in plunked batsmen. In his final year, he went 6-2 with two saves and a 4.41 ERA for the DSL White Sox 2, with 39 walks in 49 innings.

Overall, he was 13-6 with 6 saves and a 5.05 ERA in 62 games (4 starts). He allowed 135 hits and 105 walks in 149 2/3 IP while striking out 129.
