Biographical Information[edit]
Marc Ramirez was a minor league outfielder.
Ramirez signed with the Florida Marlins in 2009; the scouts were Sandy Nin and Alix Martinez. He hit .278/.348/.388 that summer for the DSL Marlins. With the GCL Marlins in 2010, he struggled at .134/.145/.209, though he played error-free ball as a backup outfielder. The San Maarten native hit only .218/.337/.293 for the DSL Marlins in 2011 to end his minor league career. Ramirez played for the French national team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, one of several San Maarten natives to play for France. He went 2 for 8 as a starting outfielder. With the bases loaded and two outs in the 10th against South Africa, he fanned against Dylan De Meyer.
