Biographical Information[edit]
Manuel Trabous is listed as playing for the Dominican national team that won Silver in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games (though BR register lists him as being born in Puerto Rico, assuming the 1950s minor leaguer is the same player as the 1946 national team member). In 1951, he hit .187 with the Trois-Rivieres Royals and the Drummondville Cubs. He hit .193/.295/.224 for the '52 Trois-Rivieres Yankees.
In 1955, the catcher appeared for the Los Angeles Angels (0 for 3), Lafayette Oilers (.177/.261/.278 in 33 G) and Magic Valley Cowboys (2 for 13). In '56, he wound down with the Burlington Bees (1 for 17) and Oilers (5 for 38, 2B).
