Biographical Information[edit]
Manuel López pitched in the minors and for the Venezuelan national team.
He spent three seasons in the Toronto Blue Jays, all with the DSL Blue Jays. He was 1-4 with a save and a 4.81 ERA in 2010, then improved to 3-1 with a save and a 1.40 ERA and .98 WHIP in '11. Despite the fine season, he was sent back for a third year, going 2-3 with 7 saves, a 2.36 ERA and 1.02 WHIP. He made one appearance for Venezuela in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, throwing two shutout innings with no hits or walks, striking out two. [1] He was born the same day as another minor league pitcher named Lopez, Robinson Lopez.
