Manual Training High School (St. Louis)
The Manual Training High School in St. Louis, MO was the first of its kind in the United States, as it was founded by Calvin M. Woodward, a professor of engineering at Washington University in Saint Louis, with which the school was affiliated, in 1880 and operated until 1917. It was also known as Smith Academy and Manual Training School, being also associated with the prestigious Smith Academy. Ed Reulbach went here.
