Major League Baseball 2K
The 2K Sports MLB games were a series of games released yearly from 2005 to 2013. The series began following the discontinuation of the 2K ESPN MLB games. The games were avaliable for all major gaming consoles such as the PlayStation and Xbox. The games were known for their heavy criticism online due to the frequent glitches and other bugs. In 2014, 2K announced that they would no longer be making baseball video games as their license was not renewed. The original games featured San Francisco Giants' broadcaster John Miller and Hall of Famer Joe Morgan as the play-by-play announcers, but they were replaced by Gary Thorne and Steve Phillips. The pre-game and post-game announcers were Jeanne Zelasko and Steve Physioc in all the games in the series.
