Maddux
A Maddux is a term invented by sportswriters to describe a complete game shutout in which the winning pitcher needs fewer than 100 pitches. This feat has become extremely rare in the 21st century and is named for Hall of Famer Greg Maddux who had a documented 11 such games from 1988 until the end of his career, 1988 being the earliest date for which complete pitch counts are available for all games.
