Lyle Smith (college02)

Lyle Smith was a college coach. He was 88-47 at head coach of Indian Hills Community College from 1983-1984. He then became assistant at Iowa State University, working with the pitchers and recruiting. He became head coach in 1995 but the school dropped baseball at the end of 2001 due to budgetary issues. He then was executive director of the Sioux Empire Baseball Association from 2002-2014, before retiring; Adam Boeve replaced him.
