Biographical Information[edit]
Luther Scarborough played for Team USA.
He came to college on a basketball scholarship but pitched well enough to be All-Southwestern Athletic Conference. He then served in the Army, stationed in Germany. In the 1955 Pan American Games, he was 1-0 with a 5.19 ERA as the US won Silver. He worked in the insurance industry for over 50 years and was active at his church.
