Biographical Information[edit]
Luke Harrigan has been a college coach and a scout.
He was a two-time All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association catcher at Adrian College. He was assistant coach at Franklin College (2006) and Adrian (2007-2010), also spending 2009 as a player-manager with the Erbach Grasshoppers in the German minors. He also spent time as a MLB Envoy in Europe, helping scout German talent for MLB teams.
Harrigan was head coach of Westminster College (MO), then Alderson-Broaddus College from 2012to 2016. He set the school record for wins in a season, with 29 then later topped it with 33. He was 144-103 overall. One of his players there was Randy Dobnak. He then moved on to Coker University where he had 56 wins from 2017-2019. He then became a Tampa Bay Rays scout.
