Biographical Information

Luke Allen had only one major league hit, a double off Colorado Rockies pitcher Kent Mercker on September 14, 2002. Though his final big league appearance was in 2003, he played professionally until 2008, slashing .324/.374/.500 in 81 games for the independent New Jersey Jackals in his final campaign.

He died at age 43.
