Loyola University Chicago is a Jesuit-run university in Chicago, IL. It is not to be confused with three other Loyola Universities: Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, CA; Loyola University Maryland; and Loyola University New Orleans. It was formerly known as St. Ignatius College; both names are derived from St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order.
