Biographical Information[edit]
Louis Rennau played three years of minor league baseball. In his first pro season, with the Holdrege White Sox in 1958, he hit .306 in 52 games. He slumped to 3-for-26 with a double and homer for the 1959 Clinton Pirates. After two summers in the Chicago White Sox organization, he spent one year in the San Francisco Giants chain and hit .218 with a .315 slugging percentage for the Quincy Gems to finish with a career average of .259 in 98 games.
After baseball, he played electric piano and vocals in a couple of bands.
