Biographical Information

Catcher Louie Albrecht started his college career at Washington State University getting into 6 games as a true freshman in 2021, then redshirting in 2022. He also played summer ball for the Wisconsin Woodchucks in 2021 and Cowlitz Black Bears in 2022. He transferred to Central Arizona College in 2023, hitting .277 in 42 games. He was committed to transfer back home to the University of Washington [1], but instead signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Phillies. He got into 5 games with the FCL Phillies in 2023, slashing .375/.444/.375 in 9 plate appearances. Albrecht began 2024 with the Clearwater Threshers, going 3-5 in his first game.
