Biographical Information[edit]
One of 11 Rosenberg siblings, Lou Rosenberg counted Harry Rosenberg as a brother. A second baseman, he joined the 1923 White Sox and pinch-hit against Herb Pennock in the bottom of the 15th inning on May 22. On July 16, he singled against Slim Harriss in his final game. Overall, he played three games in the majors, batting .250/.250/.250. He did not play in the minors after that year.
The regular White Sox second baseman at the time was Eddie Collins.
Official records listed his middle initial as "C" but his wife denies he had a middle name, saying "There were eleven Rosenberg children and none of them had a middle name. They were lucky to have a first name."
After retiring, he went into the gardening supply business and ran Sunset Garden Supply in San Francisco, CA.
