The Llaneros de Acarigua (Acarigua Plainsmen) replaced the Industriales de Valencia in the Venezuelan League for the 1968-1969 season. They were managed by Alfonso Carrasquel and finished 23-37. The following year, they were replaced by the Águilas del Zulia.
