Biographical Information[edit]
Red Brown saw his lone big league action with the 1937 Brooklyn Dodgers. In 48 games, primarily at shortstop, he batted .270/.288/.313, drawing only four walks and recording only four extra base hits. Brown later managed the Sherman-Denison Twins in the Class B Big State League in the beginning of the 1949 season. He finished that season managing the Ballinger Cats in the Class D Longhorn League.
