Lester Fuchs
Lester Fuchs was a minor league umpire in 1949 and 1950, working in the Colonial League. Three decades later, he was hired by the American League as a replacement umpire and worked briefly in 1978 and 1979 while the regular umpires were on strike.
He is the brother of Charlie Fuchs.
