Biographical Information[edit]
Leon Baham played in the minor leagues and CPBL.
Baham was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 18th round of the 1982 Amateur Draft, and he hit .353/.400/.419 in 68 games with the Idaho Falls A's. He then missed the 1983 season with a rotator cuff injury which had starting bothering him in 1982 [1], finally having surgery in October 1983. When he wasn't ready for Spring Training in 1984, the A's released him [2]. Baham returned to baseball and hit .308/.387/.439 with 8 homers for the Tri-Cities Triplets in 1985, and his batting line was .279/.357/.388 with the San Bernardino Spirit in 1987. Baham returned to a MLB-affiliated outfit in 1988, and he hit .222/.270/.294 for the Tampa White Sox. The Mercuries Tigers signed him in 1991, and he hit .260/.294/.335 for them.
