Biographical Information

Leo Hernandez signed with the New York Mets in 1995. He hit .260 for the 1996 DSL Mets and .342 in 1997. He fell to .310 with the 1998 VSL Mets before his playing career ended due to injury.

Hernandez was then with the VSL Mets from 2000-2009, managing the club the last three years. He was a coach for the DSL Mets 2 in 2010 and DSL Mets 1 in 2015-2019 and 2021-2023.
