Biographical information

The Cleveland Indians selected Lenny Torres with the 39th pick of the 2018 amateur draft, in Competitive Balance Round A. He pitched that year for the AZL Indians 2, going 0-0, 1.76 in 6 games - 5 starts - and pitching 15 1/3 innings. His K/W ratio was an outstanding 22/4. He then missed the entirety of the next two seasons, 2019 because he underwent Tommy John surgery, and 2020 because the Coronavirus pandemic shut down the minor leagues.
