Biographical Information[edit]
Len Gabrielson, like his son Len Gabrielson, was born in Oakland, CA, played some first base in the majors, and was in the National League. Unlike the son, though, who played nine seasons in the majors, the father had only five games.
His games were with the 1939 Phillies who lost 106 games. The regular first baseman was 33-year-old Gus Suhr, who came over in mid-season, after Gabrielson had played his games.
Both father and son attended Technical High.
