Biographical Information

Lei Chou had pitched in the CPBL for 6 years. His uncle is minor league and CPBL pitcher Hung-Wen Chen.

Chou was drafted by the CTBC Brothers in the 8th round of the 2015 CPBL Draft, and he had a 11.57 ERA in 3 games in his rookie year. His ERA was 10.23 in 20 games in 2016, then he improved to a 4.61 ERA in 14 games in 2017. Chou started 7 games in 2018, and his ERA was 4.74. However, he was placed in the minor league in the rest of his career, and he only pitched 4 games combined with the big club until he announced his retirement after the 2022 season. He became a coach of the Brothers after retiring.

Overall, Chou was 5-8 with a 7.07 ERA, struck out 50 and pitched 91 2/3 innings in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
