Biographical Information[edit]
In addition to playing for the St. Louis Cardinals in 1914 and the Detroit Tigers in 1918, first baseman Leo Dressen also was a member of the St. Paul Saints of the American Association from 1915 to 1917 and again from 1919 to 1921. He led the AA with 55 stolen bases in 1917, 46 swipes in 1919, and 50 steals in 1920.
Dressen was unrelated to Chuck Dressen, a teammate with St. Paul in 1921.
