León Rojas was the only person before 1950 to serve as the Cuban national team manager more than once. He managed the Club Atletico de Cuba in Cuba's amateur leagues. He guided the national team in five different events, winning the Gold Medal each time - in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games, 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games, 1939 Amateur World Series, 1942 Amateur World Series and 1943 Amateur World Series.
