Biographical Information[edit]
Larry Pape pitched three years with the Boston Red Sox. He started in independent ball and then went into the American Association in 1908. He came to the majors in 1909 and then was sent to the Brockton Shoemakers in 1910 before coming back to the majors in 1911. After his years in the majors, he played with the Buffalo Bisons.
After baseball, he worked in Pittsburgh, and died young. His obituary said he died of complications from an old baseball injury.
