Biographical Information[edit]
Larry "Tug" Milton had success in his brief major league career. As a pitcher, he gave up only one run in four innings of work for a 2.25 ERA. As a batter, he went 1-for-2 for a .500 batting average.
In the minors he won 19 games for Webb City in 1908 and 18 games for Sapulpa in 1910. He also managed the Webb City team in 1908.
The book Baseball in Springfield calls Milton a longtime Western Association owner and manager. He fielded a Springfield team in 1911 but it folded early in the season.
