Biographical Information[edit]
Larry Berra shared his father Yogi's first name and position, but not his skill at baseball. In 1971. he hit .150/~.190/.250 in 15 games for the Marion Mets and had 4 errors. In 1972, he went 0 for 4 for the Batavia Trojans, striking out three times; he also played for the Pompano Beach Mets, going 1 for 11 with a walk, 4 strikeouts and one time caught stealing.
His brother Dale Berra also played in the major leagues and brother Tim Berra played in the NFL for a year. His daughter Lindsay Berra is a reporter for mlb.com.
