Biographical Information[edit]
Lanny Frattare was a Pittsburgh Pirates radio broadcaster from 1976 through 2008, when he retired after the longest tenure in team history. He was replaced by Tim Neverett. For many years, Frattare was the "Voice of the Pirates" before he asked to have the title removed in 2006 to give equal honor to coworker Greg Brown.
