Kelvin Lance Hudson


Infielder Lance Hudson was drafted by the New York Mets in the 34th round of the 1980 amateur draft, although he never appeared in the Mets' farm system. He played in the minor leagues from 1981-1990, making it briefly to AA in 1988. In 1982, Hudson was traded from the Oakland Athletics to the Los Angeles Dodgers one-on-one for Davey Lopes. Hudson never hit .300 in the minors or cracked 5 homers. He hit .293 for the 1986 Miami Miracle, his best.
