Lake Superior
Lake Superior is the westernmost and largest of the five Great Lakes and forms part of the border between the United States and Canada. Its shore borders the states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota and the Province of Ontario. Charlie Ferguson died when he drowned in a bay on the lake.
The main cities on Lake Superior are Marquette, MI, the twin cities of Duluth, MN and Superior, WI at its westernmost extremity, and Thunder Bay, ON. It is connected with Lake Huron, to the east, by the Ste. Marie River.
