Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Kyle Wilson was drafted out of juco by the Chicago Cubs in the 31st round of the 2008 amateur draft, but continued on to NC State, setting a school record for stolen bases with 30 in 2009 [1]. He was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 24th round of the 2010 amateur draft. He apparently signed [2], but never appeared in pro baseball.

Wilson became hitting coach of the Arkansas Travelers in 2019. He was scheduled to coach the Durham Bulls in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19. He was hitting coach of Durham in 2021.
