Biographical Information

Kyle Putnam has been a pitcher.

Putnam played his college ball at Marist College. He had a 0-1, 3.77 record as a freshman, then went 4-4 with a save and a 4.08 ERA his sophomore year. He fell to 4-4, 5.84 as a junior then was 5-2 with two saves and a 4.59 ERA as a senior. He then signed with the NYSL Federals, going 1-9 with a 6.05 ERA and walking 33 in 55 innings. He spent the summer with the Canberra Cavalry of the Australian Baseball League, where he was one of their better hurlers (1-2, 3.31). He then signed with HCAW in the Netherlands for the 2012 Hoofdklasse season but he struggled (0-7, 6.13). He tied for 7th in the league in losses and led in both wild pitches (10) and hit batsmen (14).
