Biographical Information

Kyle Phillips is the brother of Jason Phillips. He made his first major league homer count, on May 30, 2011. Playing for the San Diego Padres, he pinch-hit against George Sherrill of the Atlanta Braves in the 10th inning, breaking a 2-2 tie with a solo shot; he was hitting .167 in 30 at-bats at the time.
