Kwang-woo Kim pitched in the KBO for 3 years.
Kim was drafted by the LG Twins in the 9th round of the 1998 KBO draft, and he decided to go to college first. He represented South Korea in the 1999 Intercontinental Cup. Kim joined the Twins in 2003, and he had a 3.41 ERA with 3 holds in 41 games in his first season. His ERA was 4.15 in 8 games in 2004, and he had a 7.20 ERA in 12 games in 2005. The Twins released him after the 2006 season, and his professional career ended.
Overall, Kim was 0-1 with a 4.13 ERA, struck out 25 and pitched 32 2/3 innings in 3 seasons in the KBO.
