Biographical Information

Pitcher Kurt Heyer began his professional career in 2012 after being taken by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 6th round of the 2012 amateur draft. In his first full season, 2013, he was 9-7 with a 3.41 ERA; his ERA did not fall below 4 in any subsequent campaign, through 2016. He reached Triple A for the first time in 2014, going 0-2 with a 7.30 ERA in 3 games (2 starts) in his first taste of that level.
