Kuo-Hao Wu played in the CPBL for 6 years.
Wu represented Taiwan in the 2011 World Youth Championship and 2013 U-18 Baseball World Cup. In the latter event, he batted .360/.514/.480 with 8 walks and 11 runs in 9 games, fielding .833 at SS. He led the event in runs (one ahead of Li Lin and Yasuhito Uchida), tied Yusniel Díaz for second in walks (one shy of Lin), just missed the top 5 in OBP but tied for second with 6 errors (behind Zac Shepherd). He was drafted by the Uni-President Lions in the 4th round of the 2014 CPBL Draft, and he hit .291/.394/.436 in 20 games in the CPBL minor league in 2015. Wu got 29 appearances in 2016, and his batting line was .217/.270/.333. That's the only season he played more than 20 games with the big club, and he only played 21 more games for the Lions in the rest of his career. Wu led the CPBL minors in steals from 2017 to 2019, and his batting line was .370/.447/.654, .241/.427/.373 and .242/.394/.386 respectively. He announced his retirement after the 2021 season, and he became a scout.
Overall, Wu had hit .164/.252/.245 with 18 hits in 6 seasons in the CPBL.
